From KFC to Nando's, which restaurant chains are reopening and where? (2023)

uper Saturday has come and gone, met with feasting and frolicking, and things are looking a little more normal on the London restaurant scene than they have for months.

While it was a relief to see so many of London’s top independent restaurants opening for dine-in service again on July 4, there is also something comforting (economically, if not culturally) about seeing the big high street names doing the same.

Still, not every restaurant chain has flung its doors open immediately, with most taking a gradual approach to welcoming back eat-in diners.

Over the last few months, we’ve been keeping track of which big restaurant names that have reopened to their loyal patrons for takeaway, delivery and click-and-collect.
